On the 8th January 2010, the match between Las Ramblas G S and La Zenia G S, took place at La Manga Golf on the North Course. The orginal game was scheduled for October last year but due an unfortunate circumstance it had to be postponed hence being played in January. The weather was so un Spanish that the players were wrapped UK winter style as the pictures demonstrate. As in most golf matches there are unusual incidents but non more so that when Las Ramblas team member Tony Bedson, was looking for his ball he found it in a Palm tree, but not at the top where most balls go and stay, but down at the bottom. He decided to play the shot and our camera was on the spot to see it.
